Sociometric Peer Status
Sociometric Peer Status is a rating that peers give to one another to show if their classmates are liked, disliked, or not known. Once they are rated, the peers are placed into five different categories. The first category is popular for people who are well liked by just about all. The second category is average which is for people who have an equal amount of likes and dislikes. Third is neglected which describes the adolescents who are not liked or disliked by their peers but are usually unknown. The rejected peer status is the fourth category which describes a person who is disliked and is usually known as the trouble maker(Peer Relationships).
